What is your role within the church? I wasn't elected to a specific role, but I am a member of the worship team, singing in the music group most weeks and I lead the morning service every few weeks. I also try to be involved in activities to do with prayer and outreach. I attend a housegroup and am very experienced at washing up!

Where are you from, and how long have you been in Birmingham? Originally from Derby , I've been an adoptive Brummie for nearly 30 years. I am married to John and mother of two teenage girls. I work for the probation service in the Sparkbrook area.

What kind of things do you enjoy doing in your spare time? I enjoy choral singing, reading and avoiding housework.

Do you have any ambitions or dreams you'd like to achieve? To sing in tune more of the time. To take more risks for God.
